Bio
William Liles is a Senior Associate whose practice encompasses all aspects of business litigation on behalf of companies, executives, and employees. Will’s practice has a particular emphasis on civil litigation cases involving contract disputes, compensation and ownership disputes, and complex insurance coverage issues.
Will has represented both corporate and employee clients in wage and hour collective actions, civil contract disputes, construction defect, products liability, labor and employment, and personal injury claims.
An active trial lawyer, he has served as the first chair trial attorney on numerous cases through verdict and regularly litigates in both federal and state courts across the country. Indeed, when just six months out of law school, Will was the first chair trial attorney for a plaintiff-side personal injury trial that resulted in one of the highest motor vehicle verdicts in Texas for that year.
Because not all cases need or even should be tried to verdict, Will has also negotiated and obtained final court approval of multi-million dollar settlements involving thousands of class members.
Will obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Prior to law school, he taught English in Santiago, Chile. He also participated as a crew member in the Transpacific Yacht Race, racing a sailboat from Long Beach, California to Honolulu, Hawaii in 2007 and 2009. Mr. Liles then obtained his law degree from Baylor University in 2012, where he was admitted to the Order of the Barrister for outstanding oral advocacy.
